The Flight Experience
Your balloon drifts with the wind at altitudes ranging from tree level to around 750 meters (2,500 feet). The flight is remarkably smooth and peaceful—there's no sensation of movement because you're traveling with the air currents. Below, you'll see palm groves, traditional villages, desert trails, and perhaps even wildlife starting their day.
Traditional Berber Breakfast
After landing, you're welcomed to a desert camp where a traditional Berber breakfast awaits. Sit on colorful cushions in a Bedouin tent and enjoy fresh msemen (Moroccan pancakes), bread, olive oil, honey, jam, fresh fruit, and endless mint tea. It's the perfect way to celebrate your aerial adventure.
Practical Information
- Weather: Balloons fly best in cool, calm conditions. Flights may be postponed if wind exceeds 15 km/h, or in case of rain, fog, or storms. Your safety is the priority.
- Temperature: It's significantly cooler at altitude than on the ground, especially at sunrise. Dress in warm layers that you can remove as the day warms up.
- Motion Sickness: Hot air balloon flights are very smooth—motion sickness is rare because you move with the wind rather than against it.

Itinerary
Pre-dawn
Hotel Pickup
Your driver picks you up about an hour before sunrise. In summer this is around 4am, in winter around 6am.

Arrive at the desert launch site and enjoy coffee, mint tea, and cake while watching the crew prepare the balloon.
Sunrise
Take Flight
Climb into the basket and lift off as the first light touches the horizon. Drift silently above palm groves, villages, and desert terrain.

The Flight
Float peacefully for 40-60 minutes as the sun rises over the Atlas Mountains. The balloon drifts with the wind, offering ever-changing perspectives.
After Landing
Berber Breakfast
Touch down and celebrate with a traditional Berber breakfast: fresh bread, pancakes, olives, jam, fruit, and mint tea served in a desert tent.

- Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before. Full refund if cancelled due to weather.
- Accessibility
- Participants must be able to climb into the basket (about 1 meter high) and stand for the duration of the flight. Not suitable for pregnant women or those with heart conditions.
- Age Restrictions
- Minimum age 6 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
